I never thought The MK3 will not recognize anything above V22? Will you ever see it display higher than SW 3-1/63?I dont' see anything different on that screen shot than I have on mine.Now if somebody could get me the info and select button back that would be a trick. I do have them when I use my TV module to run the monitor. But not after my MK3 and 16:9 upgrade.

A well known problem.64 is the last version for the MK3 and I think v22 is the last update that had the most recent MK3 software on it. Everything after that still contains the v64 unless you have MK4, the latest is SW4- 1/00 which is what I am running on my MK4. Put it in the drive. Turned on the car.Hmm. The Nav just boots up. Maybe I did install the most recent version already.Edit the Hex to force an upgrade to the '0000' release. Put the disc in, turn the car, frozen @ the Installing update, may take 6 mins screen.Crap.After 10 mins, I turn the car off. Turn it back on, still frozen. Try ejecting the disc, no luck.

Wait till it shuts down, try ejecting it. Find some coat hangers to pop the nav out to try manually removing the disc (at this point I figured I screwed the drive, time for that Mk IV upgrade!) I get the hangers in, and the drive starts spinning again?Turn on the car, and the progress bar is 3/4 across the screen. Let it finish, VIOLA! 3-1/00!!!I'm going to go back and 'update' to the correct SW number. Just glad the drive isn't dead. YetEDIT: AHA! I bought a 2011 update from, obviously the map DVD is in my car but I have the CD with the firmware v32.2 update lying here, if anyone needs it. Perhaps I can just make an image of it (and maybe even the map DVD??) and put it on the internet in case anyone needs it.EDIT:Here's the link to the firmwareFirst off thank you for posting the iso.

For everybody here, the update works like a dream.I can readily see that it updated from my splash screen. But I cannot get any of the functionality that bmwnavi.eu shows on the settings screen like night mode. Have you been able to get night mode?
