I didn't really like Skyrim Flora Overhaul because the trees just looked sort of odd to me, and I couldn't settle with Enhanced Vanilla Trees because I just didn't like it lmao. BUT THIS MOD!? OOOOOH BITCH!
It makes skyrim look like the Witcher 3 and im HERE for that! It also gives me an oblivion vibe sorta. It even makes plants on the ground move and I believe some trees however i'm not sure because I also have the skyrim is Windy mod. I just needed to let you all know this mod is incredible and I feel it's not as recognized as SFO or EVT.I'm not the best at taking pics but here you go lol:If you're curious, i'm using Rudy ENB + ELFX + Obsidian Weathers + True Storms, all trees and grass is done by the mod. I absolutely love this mod. To an extent, anyway.
Tbh I actually really hate the trees.Okay yeah I know how that sounds, hear me out. What I do love about this mod is the retextures/meshes for the plants that are NOT trees.
That is, the ingredients, ferns, shrubs. Basically anything that isn't a tree. I find them way better than other meshes I've seen, almost ridiculously so. When used in conjunction with Skyrim 3D Landscapes and Groundcovers (and personally, Viscous Foliage, though other grasses look great as well), forest floors feel alive.For my actual trees I've decided to go with the Simply Bigger Trees + Realistic Aspen Trees + HQ Bark combo and its brilliant. Walking around those full gigantic forests I felt much more satisfied than I did with the individual-tree vibe I got from 3D Trees. The only downside was that I had to remove every reference to tree positioning from the 3D trees esp, which was fairly tedious. The end result though?

Would recommend. Never appealed to me as the needles on the pine trees are too long for any pine tree in Northern Europe. The only thing that comes remotely close is Pinus wallichiana and Pinus bhutanica (from the Himalayas) but even then their habit is vastly different. This is why vanilla trees, EVT and SFO are better IMO - they are lore friendly, right for the environment, more believable and therefore more immersive.I'm also a tree and plant snob and picky as fuck about what goes in my game. EVT and DynDOLOD ultralods FTW.

Absolutely the best trees Skyrim has ever seen, they can look out of place only if you've not modded the rest of the game to catch up with the detail. When generating LOD you can tweak the brightness of them in DynDoLOD to taste for your build and weather mod etc.
I highly suggest you use his companion mod 3D landscapes, 3d rocks, and all his mods lol, brilliant work, and he continually improves and updates them too. Once you use these theres no going back to the flat plain old worn out xbox optimized variety in vanilla and oldrim mods.Heres a few images:)EDIT: Oops the images were not public lol.
